The Story
Ana Matilius is a husband and father who experienced a near-death experience (NDE) triggered by panic attacks related to grief in 2018. After losing family members, he felt deep loneliness and anxiety. During a workout, he felt a jolt in his heart, which led him to call 911 and visit the ER. Although he was physically fine, this experience prompted him to explore NDEs online. He discovered that many people, regardless of their beliefs, reported similar themes of love in their experiences. After studying over a thousand NDEs, Ana transformed his rigid evangelical beliefs into a more inclusive perspective. He now emphasizes the importance of love and compassion over strict doctrinal beliefs, encouraging others to examine their worldviews objectively.
