Cass Forkin's Childhood NDE

The Story
A nine-year-old girl in 1970 had a near-death experience while riding her bike alone after a tough day at school. She was hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident, knocked unconscious, and left for dead in the street. She entered an amazing bright light and felt deep peace and joy. All her worries, like trouble at school, dropped away. She floated lighter down a tunnel toward a being surrounded by golden light. Every cell in her body came alive, and she knew everything was okay and always would be. She felt reminded of her life's purpose and sensed her DNA changing, making her lighter for the job her soul promised to do. She woke up strapped in an ambulance, looking at a metallic ceiling, in pain and screaming. After the event, she gained a lasting sense that all is well. She feels connected to everyone and often hugs strangers because she knows they share this truth. Her view of life shifted to one of guidance and lightness.
“this life is that I was in the light of Christ and the closer I got to that”
This NDE lacks any veridical perception claims of the physical world during unconsciousness; it features only internal spiritual elements like light, tunnel, and peace. No observations of rescuers, body, or events from an impossible vantage are reported, resulting in minimal evidential strength across all criteria.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
