Alexa Hartung: Angels in Disguise

The Story
Alexa Hartung had three near-death experiences. The first occurred at age five in 1952 after choking on ice cream following throat surgeries. She entered a black velvety space, felt safe with a Father God figure, and returned reluctantly, gaining intuition to read people. The second happened at age 26 in 1973 after childbirth when her blood pressure dropped. She left her body, saw large angels with wings, traveled through a tunnel with energy rings to a bright light. There, she met God and Jesus, witnessed cherubim praising, faced a life review with Satan accusing her, received Jesus's love, saw a book with family dates showing it was not her time, and returned pain-free. The third came from a heavy chest weight, possibly a heart attack. She visited a Blackfoot Indian world with beaver people, escaped evil spirits, met her grandfather and living father, and was sent back. After the second NDE, Alexa gained the ability to communicate with animals, especially dogs, receiving pictures and words. She learned pets go to heaven, receive new bodies, and have callings. This led her to write 'Angels in Disguise' about pets' afterlife visits and shifted her career to massage therapy and Reiki.
“safe i knew that there was a father god figure there and i didn't want to”
The transcript describes three NDEs with one instance of out-of-body experience looking down at the body during a medical crisis, but lacks any specific, verifiable physical details observed from that vantage point. No verifications of perceptual claims are provided, limiting evidential strength to basic OBE report without corroboration.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
