The Story
Bill Letson was a firefighter and engineer in Santa Barbara in 1994. He caught a severe flu from a patient he treated. He became dehydrated and was hospitalized. A nurse gave him pain and nausea medications, which caused him to collapse into unconsciousness in intensive care. During the night, Bill left his body. He flew through a star-filled realm and felt overwhelming love, joy, and acceptance. Negative emotions like anger and jealousy disappeared. He expanded into a vast cloud and gained full knowledge of his life but rejected returning to his body. He landed in a facility with three short hooded beings who greeted him warmly and giggled because he did not remember them. A tall wispy being radiated love and acted like a father. Bill shared life regrets briefly, but the being told him to return because he had important tasks. He slipped into darkness and woke in his body.
