I DIED And Went To Hell Where Demons Tortured Me! (NDE)

The Story
MK McDaniel, a devoted Catholic woman, suffered a near-death experience in 1999 after catching a severe flu that led to double pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome. She passed out with no pulse and was placed in a three-week coma after a tracheotomy. During the NDE, she entered total darkness, then faced hellish scenes: a demonic voice confirmed she was in hell; she witnessed a bombed-out city with fires and an alien-like ship; a demon tricked her into cutting endless thorny vines with tiny scissors; she refused to work in an abortion clinic; on a rocky road, zombies attacked her, giving her AIDS; a demon forced her into prostitution in a snowy shack on Christmas, but she sang a carol defiantly. The scene shifted to heavenly warmth and joy. She saw her deceased friend, who looked young and healthy, and he told her she had too much left to do, sending her back. After waking, McDaniel endured a grueling recovery, relearning basic skills, and felt angry and fearful at first. Over 10 years, she joined the International Association for Near-Death Studies, realized her hellish visions stemmed from her religious beliefs about sin and purgatory, and understood she manifested them. She embraced God's unconditional love and forgiveness, rejected fear-based religion for spirituality, adopted a mantra of being loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, encouraging, grateful, non-judgmental, and useful. She wrote a bestselling book, started a support group for distressing NDE experiencers, shared her story on podcasts reaching millions, and worked in hospice to ease others' fears of death.
“what is God and the answer was God is love and it said where is God and it”
The account describes a severe medical crisis with clinical death and prolonged coma, providing a strong foundation for potential veridical claims. However, it contains no descriptions of physical-world perceptions during unconsciousness, only internal visionary experiences of hell and heaven, resulting in zero evidential strength for veridical perceptions.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
