The Story
Darren Shiner was a car salesman from the United States. He suffered an aortic dissection after a night at the casino, which caused severe chest pain and collapse. His friend rushed him to the hospital two miles away, where he lost consciousness. During the NDE, Darren entered a cold black void filled with negative emotions like despair, hate, and guilt, along with dripping black magnetic goo. He called out 'Jesus saved me,' and a white light appeared, pushing away the darkness and filling him with love, safety, joy, and belonging. He saw vibrant colors, including unknown ones, that formed beautiful people he felt connected to, like returning home. A tall white light figure stood beside him, triggering a life review of his son's life. Darren pleaded to return. He entered a warm tunnel and appeared in an old apartment where he met his young father, who scolded him for his wild behavior and told him to go back, care for his son, and be the man he taught him to be. Another tunnel led to waking up. After the NDE, Darren realized the people represented inner beauty that the world condemns. He now shares his story to promote living in God's true image and resisting negative influences like self-indulgence.

Exceptional evidential strength due to a precise, verified description of a remote, unknown past location (father's pre-draft apartment in downtown Kansas City, while experiencer was dying in a likely Las Vegas hospital), unknown to the experiencer, with high medical severity; limited slightly by single verification and lack of pre-verification reporting.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
