The Story
Gary was a 29-year-old man in 1977 when a speeding car hit him head-on in a car accident. This caused his near-death experience. During the NDE, Gary left his body and watched it get tumbled by the car. He expanded outward and felt liberated. He went through a tunnel of light to infinite mind, a beautiful blue sky where everything pulsed as one. He forgot who he was and felt at one with it. Then he was pulled back through the tunnel. As he neared Earth, he saw three series of pictures: current chaos like COVID-19 and 9/11, a peaceful Aquarian Age, and his life as a musician. He jumped back into his body. After the NDE, Gary had no injuries but spent 10 days in a psychiatric hospital. He was released as stable. He gained psychic abilities and premonitions. He became fearless and optimistic. He saw the accident as planned to satisfy his curiosity. He learned to benefit from all life events and encouraged others to grow through challenges.
“And so everything we go through in life can teach us something. We can benefit from The Good, the Bad, the Ugly. We can”
The account describes a brief out-of-body experience during a car accident resulting in no injuries or medical intervention, with only vague observations of the experiencer's own body and no specific, verifiable details about inaccessible events. Post-NDE psychic feats like predicting doctor arrival times and knowing a psychiatrist's family are reported as verified but occur separately from the NDE proper and do not involve perceptual access impossibility. Prompt reporting to police and witnesses adds minor strength, but overall evidential value is low due to lack of precision, verification of core claims, and severe crisis.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
