HOW DYING TAUGHT ME THAT DEATH IS JUST THE BEGINNING: NDE, Terror & Love with Rev. Peter Panagore

The Story
Peter Baldwin Panagore, a 21-year-old student and outdoorsman, experienced his first near-death experience from severe hypothermia during an ice climb on the Weeping Wall in Alberta, Canada, in March. He and his partner faced freezing temperatures after sunset, leading to exhaustion and failed rappels. As he collapsed from cold, Peter left his body. He saw a pinprick of light that rushed toward him telepathically, saying it was taking him. He resisted but was pulled into infinite darkness, becoming an orb of consciousness. He approached a gateway with flowing essence of love, creator, and bliss. He heard his soul name, saw his creation and multiple lives, underwent a life review reliving pain he caused others amplified, received forgiveness and healing. He viewed Earth from space, saw a veil over humanity, and understood divine love for all. He chose to return due to family suffering and commitments, reentering his body painfully. After, he felt alienated, prayed for death for years, changed from architecture to studying mysticism, became a reverend, and shares messages of love. In his second NDE from a heart attack years later, he briefly left but returned for his granddaughter.
Despite extreme medical crisis from advanced hypothermia (tunnel vision, collapse, partner declaring 'you were dead'), the NDE lacks any veridical perception claims, featuring only subjective mystical experiences like a tunnel of light, life review, and divine communion. No specific, verifiable details of the physical world, verification attempts, or corroborated elements severely limit evidential value.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
