The Story
Marcelo is a lawyer from São Paulo. He experienced an NDE due to four bradycardias before surgery for colon cancer. During the NDE, he felt his senses change, saw a bright whiteness, and experienced a strong sense of peace and belonging. He sensed a connection with something greater and felt comfort from silhouettes around him. He also saw his son, who urged him to stay alive. After the experience, Marcelo felt a renewed will to live and a transformed perspective on death. He no longer feared death and found a deeper understanding of life, relationships, and spirituality.
