Blake Brewer

The Story
Blake Brewer, a 22-year-old college student studying psychology, had a distressing near-death experience after a longboarding accident. He suffered a concussion and later passed out at a friend's house, possibly from cardiac arrest. During the NDE, Blake entered a black void where he felt conscious but terrified, knowing it was death. He stayed in infinite nothingness for an unknown time, gripped by fear of dying without finishing his life. Then, a calm being appeared and communicated telepathically, offering him a choice to die or return. Blake chose to return and woke up. His friends had called EMTs, who took him to the hospital where doctors found no damage and released him. After the NDE, Blake developed intense fear of death and anxiety, leading him to therapy. He researched NDEs, rediscovered his spirituality, and shifted from atheism to believing in an afterlife and reincarnation. Now 25, he works in foster care case management and considers hospital chaplaincy. The experience revitalized his spirit and reduced his fear of death.
“with the love of God our guest today how's it's good to hear your voice yeah”
This DNDE lacks any veridical perception claims, featuring only a subjective black void and telepathic interaction with a being, despite a severe medical crisis involving apnea and possible cardiac arrest. No observations of real-world events, verifications, or corroborations are reported, limiting evidential value to the medical severity alone.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
