Bill McDonald Pt2

The Story
Reverend Bill McDonald, a Vietnam War veteran and spiritual leader, had a near-death experience during open-heart quadruple bypass surgery in 2011. This followed heart attacks in India and at Denver airport. During the surgery, his heart and lungs stopped while on a heart-lung machine. He found himself clothed in a body at a temple in southern India, as predicted by a Nadi palm reading. He walked uphill to meet great rishis and his guru Gorakh Nath by a fire. A feminine voice offered peace, bliss, and release from suffering, urging him to give up his heart. His guru instructed him to return, saying he must endure more pain to teach others how to handle it. The guru showed a cloud with faces of thousands needing his help to complete their dharma. Bill felt surgery pain upon return and relived the experience multiple times in the hospital. He received confirming phone calls and visions from spiritual figures. After recovering with five blood transfusions and 10 extra hospital days, Bill formed Spiritual Warrior Ministries. This non-denominational group trains chaplains from various faiths to serve veterans, homeless people, and those in hospitals or hospice. It focuses on love, service, and honoring others' beliefs without dogma.
“and i just felt such love and such peace me and this cobra were becoming one it was it was a phenomenal experience and”
The account features a clinically dead state during open-heart surgery with claims of remote perception in India, bolstered by specific conversation details later exactly matched in a phone call from the guru and independent witnesses corroborating detailed apparitions of spiritual figures (Teshwar seen by others, Babaji described precisely by a neighbor). Evidential strength is high due to multiple detailed verifications, though limited by lack of real-time physical event confirmations at the remote temple and some experiences occurring post-acute recovery phase.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
