Christine Duminiak: God's Gift of Love
What Researchers Found
The Story
Christine Dominiak was a skeptic about afterlife signs until 1998, when she woke up at 4 AM in her bedroom and had a spiritual visitation. She first saw a serene man in a red cloak suspended near the ceiling, who faded away. Scary spirits appeared, so she prayed with her rosary. The room turned blue with twinkling lights, and a peaceful woman in a white veil appeared briefly over the doorway. She felt calm and noticed hazy spirits. Thinking of her husband's grief over his father's death 11 years earlier, she called out to John. He materialized clearly in front of her face, dressed in a black fedora, suit, and tie, semi-transparent from the waist up. She asked if Stella was there, and his wife appeared next to him in a flapper hat, red lipstick, and pearls. Christine woke her husband Bob, who could not see them but spoke to them silently. The spirits stayed for about an hour. Christine grew tired, thanked them, and waved goodbye as they waved back. This visitation repeated a few times a week, leading her to research after-death communications. She consulted a Christian medium and learned God wanted her to help grieving people spiritually and with touch healing. She accepted this mission. Afterward, Christine became a certified grief recovery specialist, studied reflexology for healing, founded Prayer Wave for After-Death Communication to pray for signs from loved ones, wrote books on the topic, and co-hosted a radio show. Her work helped many, including those considering suicide, find joy and connection after loss.

This account describes after-death communications (ADCs) rather than an NDE, occurring while awake with no medical crisis. Perceptions are of recognizable apparitions in the experiencer's bedroom with no verified impossible or hidden details, limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
