The Story
The person was a 21-year-old woman living in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1991. She worked at a sign company. The NDE happened during a car accident on December 14. An 81-year-old man hit her Toyota Corolla at 75 miles per hour while she crossed a highway after a stoplight. Her car folded in half, and her neck broke. During the NDE, time slowed down. She chose to leave her body to avoid pain. She heard a low drone vibration and floated out. She watched the crash from above with no fear or attachment to her body. She felt her college friend's horror from three cars back. The drone turned into beautiful music of the spheres. She entered a space of infinite love. Two beings appeared as old men. She recognized them as trusted guides. They showed her a life review. It displayed non-chronological events from her life happening concurrently. This taught her that all experiences, including pain and discomfort, contribute to growth. After the NDE, she transformed her view of reality. She embraced all life aspects without judgment. She understood multiple realities and concurrent lifetimes. She now lives fully, accepting differences, and shares her story to help others.
“really were, you look back on your life and you're like, oh my god, they totally got this world that I was getting ready to”
The account describes a severe car crash with clinical death (broken neck) and detailed out-of-body observations from an impossible vantage point, including specific unexpected details like a bystander leaving a phone number. However, evidential strength is limited by the complete absence of any reported verification attempts, confirmed accuracies, or details on the timing of the initial report.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
