The Story
Jeff McCall experienced three near-death events from car accidents during his troubled youth involving alcohol and drugs. At age 15, he stole a car while drunk and crashed off Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee, hitting multiple trees but suffered no injuries. At age 17, he fled police at high speed in a Chevy Nova, which flipped with two passengers, yet all emerged unharmed without seatbelts. At age 22, he flipped his girlfriend's car while intoxicated and high, soaking it and himself in gasoline from an improper container, but no spark ignited and no one was hurt. McCall attributes these survivals to supernatural angelic protection from God against Satan's attempts to kill him prematurely. After serving prison time, he converted to Christianity in 1975, quit substances, earned bachelor's and master's degrees in history, became a prison minister, and raised two sons who now lead ministries.
The account describes three car accidents survived without injury, attributed to angelic protection, but contains no veridical perception claims such as out-of-body observations or specific verifiable details from impossible vantage points. Lack of any perceptual elements during unconsciousness or crisis limits evidential strength entirely.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
