Ellyn Dye: Tunnel Vison
What Researchers Found
The Story
Ellen Dye had a near-death experience in 1985 after a head-on car collision. She left her body and viewed the crash from 15 to 20 feet above her car. She saw the other driver turn off her headlights. A tunnel and light appeared when she thought of them. She entered the tunnel, felt immense love, and emerged into bright light where stress fell away. She met deceased relatives, including ones she never knew, who looked young and expressed love and pride. The scene shifted to a vibrant park with laughing children. She met tall beings of light called the Lion People. They showed her universes, human history, and life's purpose, downloading knowledge into her mind. She resisted returning but woke in the emergency room with injuries. After the NDE, Ellen felt depressed at first and struggled to adjust. Over time, her psychic abilities expanded. She became an intuitive coach, speaker, and author. She shares wisdom about love, no judgment, and humanity's shift to a Golden Age.
“and and i knew i'd never had one but at least i had a mental you know”
This NDE includes a specific OBE perception of the other driver unexpectedly turning off the experiencer's headlights from an impossible elevated vantage at the crash scene, verified later, and recognition of previously unknown deceased relatives confirmed by unearthed photos. Scores are limited by moderate medical severity (concussion without cardiac arrest), vague verification details, single primary physical veridical claim amid many spiritual elements, and late reporting in a years-later interview.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
