The Story
Steve Kang was a 19-year-old passionate Buddhist who lived the American Dream. His NDE happened after he smoked laced marijuana with heroin, cocaine, and PCP for 10 days, leading to a suicide attempt. He stabbed his neck and stomach with a knife, but police stopped him. He lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital. During the NDE, Steve left his body and went down like a roller coaster. He landed in hell, a dark place with dirt, red-purple sand, rocks, chained people, and huge demons. He realized he was a sinner and would stay there forever. He felt intense fear, guilt, hopelessness, and pain from a chain through his stomach. Demons prepared to torture him, but he did not experience it. Jesus spoke to him, saying no more drugs or Buddhism and that He loved him. After the NDE, Steve woke up in the ER after surgery. Pastors prayed for him, and he accepted Jesus, saying the sinner's prayer 10 times. He converted to Christianity, became a pastor, and founded Revive All Nations to focus on evangelism, church planting, and making disciples. He now lives for the Kingdom Dream and shares his story to warn about hell.
“know God he shows us more God more God like you know they say God he creat”
This NDE features no veridical perceptions of real-world events or details beyond normal sensory access; it consists primarily of subjective supernatural visions of hell during a drug-induced crisis and suicide attempt. The brief out-of-body self-viewing lacks impossibility and verifiability, with all criteria limited by absence of testable claims.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
