Sharon Milliman: The 4th NDE

The Story
Sharon Millerman experienced her fourth near-death experience on December 17, 2017. She was in the hospital after a seizure. Doctors gave her medication, but she had an adverse reaction. She stopped breathing and died from acute respiratory acidosis. During the NDE, her spirit left her body and rose through the ceiling into the sky and universe. She felt wrapped in a cozy black velvet blanket like a cocoon. She curled in a fetal position and hung suspended. She sensed God's presence, felt protected and loved, and heard a conversation about deciding if it was her time to go. A vacuum then pulled her back into her body. She woke to bright lights, nurses, a doctor, and her worried husband. After the NDE, Sharon lost her fear of the void. She now sees it as a restful, comforting place with God's love. She shares her story to help others understand death stages and feel less afraid.
“that god does love you and that god is you are able to enjoy the void and”
This NDE features a severe medical crisis with clinical death from respiratory failure, but lacks any veridical perception claims, describing only a subjective cosmic void experience with no impossible earthly observations or verifications.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
