Man Dies; Meets His Grandmother And Brother He Never Knew In Heaven (Verifiable Moment) (NDE)

The Story
Ray Furin, now 70, had two near-death experiences. The first happened at age 5 when a black wasp stung him behind his ear, causing anaphylactic shock. He died briefly in the hospital. During this NDE, he rode on top of a silent gray-black tornado into a dark area with white spotlight dots. He saw little children his age, including a girl in a cream sundress with blue flowers. She invited him to play and offered a puppy. Comforting voices told him he could not stay. An intense vibration brought him back to life under a sheet in the hospital. The second NDE occurred at age 16 or 17 from peritonitis after his appendix burst. He died on the operating table. He entered a bright white light and walked with reassuring voices he recognized from before. He saw people in pastel colors smiling and talking. His grandmother Rose, whom he never met, approached in a white gown with a blue stone pendant. She said he could not stay and asked him to tell his mother everything was fine and that Tommy was well. He awoke in recovery. After these experiences, Ray lost his fear of death. He believes in a happy life after death filled with joy and love. He became open to spiritual entities and advises living life well without guilt.
“afraid of in life than there is in death like taxes I would say to anybody that”
The account features highly specific, unpredictable, and multiply-verified details about an unknown deceased grandmother's appearance, unique blue-stone pendant, and unknown deceased brother Tommy, confirmed in detail by the mother with a strong emotional reaction and physical evidence (pendant). Scores are somewhat limited by moderate medical severity (deep unconsciousness from burst appendix/peritonitis, no explicit flatline) and perceptual access involving paranormal rather than strictly physical separation from an impossible vantage point.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
