If I start to heal and feel happy again, will my deceased loved one think I've moved on and forgotten them?

“So my grandma talked to me, who had passed a long time ago. She showed up. She told me to tell her daughter, my aunt, that was in the room, that she didn't want her to be sad anymore for her mom. She told me to tell her that she doesn't want her up at night crying for her anymore, that it's okay, and she's okay, and that everything's all right, and she doesn't have to do that. She wants to see her happy and not sad.”10:47

“My grandmother was there. Now, she had been dead for 14 years, and I had never once believed that anybody existed beyond their death. And my grandmother just put her arms around me like she did when I was a child and pulled me into her chest, and the next thing I knew, we were re-experiencing all 19 years we were on the planet together.”3:24

“And they were happy to see me, and I was very happy to see them, and they appeared to me to be my grandmas, not like before they passed away, which is my grandmothers. And I couldn't take my eyes off my grandmother's eyes. They were like this endless tunnel of blue light. And I felt God's presence right there. And it's not like she was talking to me, it's like her thoughts were conveyed to me through her eyes.”13:39

“golds and silvers. They're kind of floating inside the orbs and it was really pretty and I thought this is really beautiful. It was just so calming to me to see them and know that they were with me. And my grandmother was around quite a bit during the NDEs and she did tell me that I would heal and to let my family know that I just needed to eat. >> Such a grandma thing to say. [laughter] And if you knew my grandma, she was an amazing baker. She canned the best dill pickles. Like every family party was at”23:31

“grandmother, my dog that died. I thought they would be there for me. And I'm not upset, but I'm curious. I'm just thinking, wow, where is everybody? like, "Aren't isn't there supposed to be a welcome or something?" Right? And as I'm exploring this place, I turn around and I see someone. Now, this person, as I see them, it feels like my chest is being broken open. Literally, it's painful. It's an ecstatic pain. I don't know if we humans have ever really truly can feel that. On the other side though,”67:22

“I was with her when she died. She passed in my arms, which I'd wished for. I'll never forget what happened right after. These are the moments that stay with you even decades later. My grandmother stopped breathing and I was holding a lifeless body. I suddenly thought, Oh God, I no longer love my grandmother. Hopefully no one is seeing this right now. I felt no connection to that body. I almost felt found out. Because everything I had ever loved, it was like a tin can with the fish already gone. And then came this moment that changed my life.”7:42

“For example, your grandmother who died may not still look like how she left you, but if you were dying, she may manifest in the image you are used to to bring you comfort, ease, and familiarity through your transition.”19:25

“she wasn't living, right? She was just grieving. And then eventually she got to the point where she started living. She started smiling. She started going out. She started getting things done. And she started not needing me anymore. And I was so glad for her. But I was almost stuck of just like engrossed in this movie, so to speak, that I couldn't leave. Didn't want to leave. And every once in a while, my I don't know what to call them, my guides would come along and say, "It's time to go." And I was”9:41

“Yeah, look, it was still a very sad situation and I was so sad to lose her. But deep in my heart, I knew where she was. And I had dreams about her, very vivid dreams about her just running through fields of grass and laughing, enjoying herself, and just being totally happy. And I just thought, 'Well, perhaps this is God or her trying to let me know that where she is, she's full of joy.' And it has really altered my whole way of thinking about death.”24:12

“So at that point, I was comfortable thinking, 'Okay, yeah, Mom is going to be sad here, but once she reaches eternal heaven, there will be no more sadness.' So I think that's where time heals all wounds, but you and I and everybody else here on earth know that trouble exists, and some things have not healed with time.”39:07

“consciousness of your loved one who's passed away. Sometimes there is a healing process emotionally or psychologically that happens in these visitation dreams. Plus, sometimes there's closure that happens in these dreams that's very valuable and amazing for a person. And so, I'm the type of transpersonal guide where if a person sits down and says, "The other night I had a visitation dream from my mother who died 3 years ago and it was so powerful and she gave me this message and I woke up feeling healed and it was”3:19

“There was a point where I couldn't go any further. My grandmother was there, crying with her arms held out to me. She had died when I was a teenager. Well, she hugged me. It's like when you get out of a cold lake and your mother would wrap a warm towel around you. I had a feeling of total unconditional love. I had no pain, just a feeling of total wellness. While hugging her, I realized we were floating.”0:23

“When my grandmother passed away, back about 30 years ago, I was in my apartment at the time, and I didn't know that she'd passed away, but I really felt like she had come to see me.”45:43

“So to me, it felt reasonable to be happy for them knowing that the situation they were in before they passed away. So I was just so happy that I thought the pain had gone away.”20:49

“And I let her know that, you know, people that's had NDEs when their friends and family die, they say they've got to turn their face and not let anyone see them because they're smiling. They're happy because they know where they're going. They're so happy for them. And I said, some of them say they're jealous. And she was like, 'Really?' You know, like she's looking at death like this bad thing, like she lost something, she, you know, like it's over. And I'm like, 'Oh no, this has been there. Can't wait to go back.'”38:08

“And in an instant, I remember her: my maternal grandmother. Tears spring to my eyes, and my heart leaps in my chest. She was an amazing woman in life, and clearly, that same spirit followed her to the place where she found me. Laughing and crying, my tears came in torrents, purging me of the grief of her loss that I wasn't aware I still harbored. She hadn't died; no, she's more alive here than she was in her body.”14:02
