Gisele Sâmia's Near-Death Experience: Jesus, Spirit Beings, and Earth's Future

The accident itself was almost absurdly mundane. In 2009, Gisele Sâmia was traveling through the Brazilian countryside with her family when they stopped to eat. Her son slammed the car door directly into the base of her skull. She passed out immediately. Her ex-husband panicked. There was a one-year-old baby in the car. Everyone was agitated and frightened.

They rushed her to a rural emergency room where the doctor examined her and said, "Look, she's having a convention, I think it could have been a clot, an edema, I don't, I can't diagnose it". He recommended they take her to São Paulo or back to their home city. He gave her a sedative for the trip.

That's when everything went wrong.

The Allergy No One Would Believe

Gisele has an extreme sensitivity to allopathic medication. She can't take Tylenol. She can't take most pharmaceutical drugs without severe reactions. Her ex-husband told the doctors. Her mother told them. Everyone warned them.

But during the five or six-hour drive back, she had "several Conventions in the car, several several several". When they finally reached the hospital in their city, the medical staff dismissed the allergy warnings entirely. "They said No, she's having a seizure, we have to stop her because otherwise she won't be able to handle it".

They gave her another sedative. Then another.

Something strange happened after one of these doses. Gisele suddenly became completely conscious, with no symptoms. She begged her husband: "look, get me out of here because you're not saying that I'm allergic and I'm going to die, they can't come in with medication". He told her he couldn't remove her from the hospital. The doctors were treating her.

Then she blacked out again.

After the third or fourth sedation, her respiratory system shut down. She was moved to semi-intensive care. For the next 48 hours, the seizures never stopped. Not once. Between convulsions, she would briefly regain consciousness, fully aware, asking anyone who would listen to get her out of the hospital. The medical staff thought she was hallucinating, having an emotional crisis.

At four in the morning, something shifted. She found herself looking at her own body from the side of the hospital stretcher. "I saw my body I saw myself like this ah in the spiritual part I saw my body I didn't see myself I saw myself on the stretcher I saw myself with all the equipment". Her point of view was sideways, as if she were standing next to the bed.

When she looked to her left, she saw them: "family members who had already passed away, like my father, my grandmother on my mother's side, who was super, she was a very important person in my life". Her grandfather was there too. She looked at them and thought, "Wow, what happened?"

She kept coming back into her body, then leaving again. Each time it got harder to return. When her sister finally arrived, Gisele told her she had to get her out of the hospital. Her sister said she couldn't, that Gisele was too sick. They took her sister away for another procedure.

Around 5 a.m., there was another cardiac arrest, maybe another respiratory one. She'd lost count. She remembers three very serious cardiac arrests, but there were countless respiratory failures.

That's when she told her mother about the sun. "I opened my eyes and said mom get me out of here the sun is coming if the sun comes and I don't leave this hospital I won't resist". Her mother left the room and told her ex-husband: she has to get out of here.

Through what Gisele describes as divine intervention, they managed to arrange a transfer to a better hospital. She remembers flashes of being loaded into the ambulance, brief moments of consciousness before everything went dark again.

The Angel Who Induced the Coma

At the new hospital, a panel of nearly 25 doctors examined her. They suspected edema, a blood clot, something neurologically catastrophic. But they still wouldn't consider that this was an allergic reaction to the medications. "They said, nothing happens like that, I don't have that in medicine, that's impossible".

After another day of relentless seizures, one doctor made a decision. Gisele calls him an angel. He called the family and said, "Look, I'm going to put her in a coma because she doesn't stop, I've never seen anyone have so many convulsions in a row like that, she doesn't stop and she's already had three stops". He warned them: she'd probably have serious consequences. She might not walk again. But he needed permission to induce a coma so her brain could rest.

They agreed. Gisele was placed in an induced coma for 30 days.

For her family, those 30 days must have been agonizing. For Gisele, it was something else entirely.

Fifty Meters From Her Body

During the coma, she remembers everything. She could see her ex-husband, her family, some friends. But she was "already far away from my body". The only thought that anchored her was her children: "I can't I can't go with my family because otherwise I would die and I would be left I have a one year old daughter I have my little son I have to take care of I can't die from them".

She found herself about 50 meters from her physical body. That's when she felt it, a massive presence behind her. She turned around and saw two angels, but not the kind you see in paintings. These were enormous, maybe 2.5 meters tall. They weren't human-like at all.

"They said, Look, you're not allowed to stay here you have to follow you have to go with us". Gisele refused. She said no, she wasn't going to die, her body was right there, she had to stay by her body or she would die.

The angels were firm: "you no longer have permission to stay by your body's side, please come with us we need to show you we need to talk".

She kept arguing. She was agitated, nervous. She told them about her daughter, her son, her husband. She loved her husband. She couldn't die.

Then they said something that changed everything: "Calm down."

"That was very instantaneous, so I started to feel calm, peaceful, peaceful". The panic dissolved. In what felt like seconds but was actually 30 days of earth time, they transported her somewhere else.

The Glass Dome and the Children

She arrived at a place with an enormous lawn, vast beyond measure. There were beings everywhere, though when she got close to them, they seemed to disappear. The angels placed her inside what looked like a huge glass sphere.

"They said Look, you have to stay in that sphere to clean your bodies". She was still worried about her physical body back in the ICU, but they insisted: "you need to stay in this glass sphere you need to clean your bodies".

Inside the dome, she saw only white light between herself and the glass. "It only seemed like I was inside a vacuum of a there was no" physical space as she understood it. But gradually, her vision expanded. She started to see through the glass: the lawn again, beings that weren't quite human but weren't not human either.

She saw what looked like several cities, but not cities like any on Earth. "It wasn't the United States, it wasn't Colombia, it wasn't Brazil, it wasn't Italy, they were different things".

Then she looked down. "I saw myself in the ICU, that's it, I saw my feet and I saw the ICU and I saw all of me". She could see her entire city, Santos, Brazil. She could see "my husband fighting Oh my mother my family my friends I saw everyone confused and sad".

She thought: I'm never going back to my body. My body is there in the hospital. But the more she saw of this other place, the less she cared, because "it's a peace and a Harmony is a frequency of love that I had never felt".

One day, the angels returned. The dome disappeared, and she was standing beside them. They began walking, though "walking" isn't quite right. She didn't feel her body physically. "The feeling of the astral body, you don't have the sensitivity of the 3D of matter, it's different".

They led her through a field where many children were working. These children were doing something extraordinary. They were manipulating the grass itself, and "the most different forms were materializing like PR buildings houses toys everything everything was materializing". In 2009, Gisele had never heard of nanotechnology. But that's what it looked like: "they were getting their hands on this on this Lawn and there the most different forms were materializing", miniaturized at first, then growing to full size.

Some children worked with flowers, with botany. They'd move their hands and flowers would grow, fruits would appear. The information was overwhelming, coming at her from every direction.

Then one of the children approached her. The child looked at her, and there was a light pulsing from what would be the heart chakra. "Her heart chakra was outward, it was as if this light was there pulsing". The child had larger eyes than humans, eyes that were intensely blue, taking up almost the entire face.

The child put a finger near Gisele and said, "wow, your heart is so sad". Then she placed her hand on Gisele's heart.

"That's when I understood what love is like that I've never felt anything and look, there's maternal love, which is unconditional, there's family love, there's love between friends, but it's a something so big". The child touched her heart and told her it had a lot of pain and sadness. Energy began to permeate Gisele's astral body. It was unlike anything she'd ever experienced.

Then the child left, and Gisele continued walking with the angels.

The Beings Who Inhabit Water and Earth

They arrived at a place that suddenly transformed. She entered through what looked like a door, and the space became a cube of light. The angels disappeared. Gisele found herself alone, "small and this place of light and I knew it was a cube a square". She could feel the geometric shapes clearly, even though she couldn't see them in the conventional sense.

Then, from very far away, a small focal point of light began to approach. It grew larger and larger until it filled the entire space. "When I managed to open my eye again because the light was it was so blinding, she was so bright, she had all the colors like that you saw the colors of the rainbow all the colors all the time pulsing".

She saw eyes, but no face, no form. Just eyes. And a voice inside her mind said, "I am Jesus".

She was shocked. "This was very, very different for me because to think that all my life I had been praying to Buddha". Gisele's grandmother was Buddhist. She'd spent her whole life meditating, mantras to Buddha. If this were a mental hallucination, wouldn't she have seen Buddha?

But the voice repeated: "I am Jesus, this was very, very different for me because to think that all my life I had been praying to Buddha and suddenly if it was a mental thing, people, right, several people said to me oh, everything you had was mental, you had hallucinations and I know in each cell of my being that wasn't".

Jesus told her: "you need to disconnect from your body". She refused. She didn't want to die. She asked if she had free will, if she could choose.

"He said no you have a choice but first I wanted to show you some things". She told him okay, but if she had a choice, she chose to stay in her body.

What she felt from this presence wasn't just love. It was "a joy I've never felt anything like it it's a joy it's a lightness it's different from that child I felt that compassion if I were to put it in the name of love compassion would be the highest He is happy he is pure he surrounds him with joy".

Then Jesus said, "then I'm going to take you out of your body". A zipper appeared on her astral form. Her body, which still looked like Gisele, fell to the floor like a jumpsuit being removed. "A light came out of my body, just a light". She no longer had form. She was pure light.

What followed was a tour of multiple worlds and dimensions. Jesus showed her beings that live in water, spiritual entities that have nothing to do with fish or biological life. "There are countless spirits that live in the water and that work to ensure that this water flow in a peaceful way on this planet".

She saw Earth from outside, then simultaneously felt herself inside the water. "That's when we think about, you know, about psychology and this thing about you using telepathy, you can use it, that's super possible because you do that when you are in the spirit". There are no words in that state. Everything is direct transmission of information and feeling.

Jesus then showed her beings who live inside the Earth, in the deepest parts of the planet. These weren't spiritual in the same way as the water beings. They had form, "as if they were animals they live inside the planet in the deepest part of the world planet of the earth". They work with ores and chemistry "to make sure that Earth continues to be productive so that the planet continues to have this perfect geology".

When she saw them, she had an immediate reaction: "Wow, they are very ugly, right, because they have an ugly shape like that, it's a strange rocky shape". They looked like minerals, like rocks with consciousness.

The beings responded to her thought immediately: "Oh that's why you're here that's why you can visualize people because you feel the same way you say exactly what you feel without a filter". She was only allowed to be in that place because she had no filter, because she said exactly what she felt.

The Planetary Council

Then Jesus told her she needed to see a meeting. She was transported to what she would later learn was a significant spiritual gathering that took place in September 2009, a decision meeting about Earth's future.

"It was a meeting with several beings that I had never seen". There were beings from different galaxies. She passed beings in a corridor who identified themselves as reptilians, a term she'd never heard before. There were beings from Orion, beings from Pisces. "These beings are also outside the planet and that they also inhabit the planet", Earth itself.

There were humans at this meeting too, though she didn't recognize any of them. The discussion was urgent: "The planet was going to go through a big change and that we had to become aware of that if we didn't take care of this planet Earth, if we didn't have love for human beings and animal beings and for every molecule that is here, this planet would be extinct".

They were debating what to do with the human race. Some spoke of humans "as if we were viruses as if we had the ability to evolve but we weren't aware of it". But the tone wasn't judgmental. "There was no judgment, there was a lot of this thing about feeling the truth that would be better at that moment".

Some beings said there was a new race ready to enter the planet, what they called the fifth race. "These beings needed help to enter the planet they were already ready". Some argued the planet should be cleaned and the new race inserted. Others asked to wait: "I think human beings will make it".

Then she was taken out of the meeting and returned to the cube of light, back with Jesus. She was still just light, "a very small light next to the light that was Jesus". His light filled the entire immense space. She felt like a tiny spark inside an ocean of luminosity.

The Choice

Jesus told her: "I showed you all this because you need to be disconnect from your body and you have to work here with these children".

She responded: "All I ever asked for when I pray is that I don't have attachment to my physical body but I can't I told him it hurts me a lot to think that I'm going to stay Being away from my daughter from my family hurts me a lot I don't know".

He asked again if she was ready to disconnect, telling her she needed to help this new race, to help these children.

"I told him I couldn't".

Then Jesus said something that still moves her to tears: "I know how difficult it is to leave Gaia I know how difficult it is to leave the earth I know how difficult it is to let the earth leave you but you are ready to leave".

She told him she couldn't, that she needed to be on the planet, that she loved Earth too much.

"He said so your decision is your decision because we only did all this so that you could be here and so that you could work you had the choice". Then came the warning: "I just want to tell you something when I close my eyes and this light disappears you will return to your body but the pain you will feel you never felt in the flesh".

She didn't understand what he meant. She was in a place of pure ecstasy, pure love and harmony. Pain seemed impossible.

"He said are you ready then to feel this pain in the flesh I said I'm not afraid of anything I just don't want to I'm just not ready to let go of my body and let go of the planet".

Jesus said okay. "Suddenly it was as if a camera closed like that light closed and I felt a wave like that and I opened my eyes in the ICU".

What This Experience Reveals

Gisele's account is remarkable for several reasons. First, the medical circumstances are unusually well-documented: 48 hours of continuous seizures, multiple cardiac arrests, 30 days in an induced coma. This wasn't a brief flatline. Her consciousness was separated from normal brain function for an extended period, yet she returned with memories so vivid and detailed that she spent years researching them.

The appearance of Jesus rather than Buddha is particularly striking. Gisele had spent her entire life in Buddhist practice. Her grandmother was Buddhist. She mantras to Buddha constantly. If this were a hallucination generated by her dying brain, we'd expect her cultural and religious conditioning to produce a Buddhist figure. Instead, she encountered a being who identified as Jesus, a figure outside her primary spiritual framework. This pattern appears in NDE research repeatedly: people encounter beings that contradict their expectations.

The description of spiritual beings inhabiting water and earth is consistent with accounts from other NDErs who report seeing a multilayered reality where consciousness exists in forms we don't recognize. These aren't metaphors. Gisele describes them with the specificity of someone who actually saw them, including her unfiltered reaction that the earth beings looked "ugly." That moment of honest reaction, and the beings' response that her lack of filter was precisely why she could be there, has the ring of genuine experience.

The planetary council scene is especially significant. In September 2009, when Gisele's NDE occurred, she had never heard of spiritualist teachings about a major planetary meeting taking place at that time. Only after she woke up and began searching for answers did she discover that others were reporting the same thing: a gathering of various consciousnesses to decide Earth's future. This kind of independent corroboration, where an NDEr reports something they couldn't have known and later finds it confirmed by separate sources, happens more often than skeptics would predict.

What strikes me most is Jesus's statement about the difficulty of letting Earth leave you. That's not language you typically hear in religious contexts. It's not about judgment or sin or worthiness. It's about attachment, about how hard it is for consciousness to release its grip on physical existence. The recognition that Gisele loved Earth, that she wasn't ready to let go, and that this was honored as a valid choice, tells us something profound about the nature of free will and the respect consciousness has for individual autonomy.

The warning about pain is also significant. Jesus didn't try to manipulate her decision. He told her the truth: returning would hurt in ways she'd never experienced. And he let her choose anyway. That's not the behavior of a being trying to control or coerce. It's the behavior of a teacher who respects a student's right to learn through their own experience.

Gisele's experience also touches on something we're seeing more frequently in contemporary NDEs: information about Earth's ecological and spiritual crisis. The council's discussion about whether humans would "make it," about the possibility of a new race entering the planet, about our status as potentially virus-like in our current behavior, these aren't comfortable messages. But they're consistent with a growing body of NDE reports that suggest consciousness on the other side is deeply concerned about what's happening here.

What this experience ultimately reveals is that physical death is not the end of consciousness, that we exist in a reality far more complex and populated than we imagine, and that the choices we make here matter not just to us but to a larger community of beings who are invested in Earth's future. Gisele was given a choice, and she chose to return. She chose her children, her love for this planet, her sense that she still had work to do here. And that choice was honored.

She woke up in the ICU. The pain Jesus warned her about was real. But so was everything else she'd seen. And now she's here, sharing what she learned, helping us understand that we're not alone, that we're part of something vast and purposeful, and that love, in the end, is both the question and the answer.
